We have enjoyed celebrating the 2024 Paris Olympic Games through art experiences, group time activities and various sport setups outside. Our tamariki have been very busy and put a lot of effort into creating their own Olympic flags, flames and medals. They have also had the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports including shot put, gymnastics, volleyball, table tennis, long jump, diving, hurdles, badminton, rowing, rugby, soccer and weightlifting.

The Olympic Games have provided a great opportunity to learn and explore different countries and sports, as well as what it means for our tamariki to be a team, try their best and support each other. It has been so wonderful hearing what countries and sports our tamariki and whanau follow along at home.  It was extra special to have a dress up day to celebrate the end of the Olympic Games as a Beachcomber closing ceremony.
